SUMMER 2010

Jim's Fishing trip Memorial Day weekend. He went with Larry and his brother out of Key Largo. Caught a lot of Mahi Mahi but no sail fish.

Not many pictures taken but this is where we stayed for a month on RT 1 in Peabody. Quite comfortable for Jim to work but the Internet service was not good.

Went to Gloucester for some good lobster.

Played a lot of golf. This is Sagamore in Lynnfield. A great course and we played it more than once.

Seawitch Restaurant & Oyster Bar

Right up RT 1 from our hotel was the best little restaurant. Part of the market. You just order at the counter then they bring it to your table. The best seafood we had while in this area.

Tricia's 50th birthday dinner. at the Venezia waterfront restaurant in Quincy.

Oh, oh, there is a gift involved with the scrumptious dinner and the wonderful company.

She is smiling! That's always beautiful. .

Shock and awe!. Mama does it again. Takes a lot to surprise her now that she is 50!

White gold diamond cut earrings. Success! She loves them. We are all happy and can now get down to some serious celebrating with champagne.

Oh by the way it was Chuck's birthday too. He got a a card but he looks happy. We celebrated his 50th a couple of years ago. Love that smile!

Hard to believe she is 50th with that beautiful face. Mama not too bad also. Must be in the genes.

Took everyone to see the Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats at the South Shore Music Circus on July 3rd. What a fabulous show.
The kids loved it and so did we. The good thing was it was a morning show and we still had time to make it to Plymouth to go whale watching in the afternoon.

Mama and her cubs.

Wave to the camera.

Dylan was so cute and he really enjoyed the boat ride even before we got to the whales.

It was a beautiful day and we saw a lot of whales. Unfortunately non of my pictures caught them. I jsut got the tail as they dived so I pulled a picture off the net.

The magnificent Sullivan's on a day out of MarshVegas!

Even though we didn't get any pictures this is what we saw on Cptn John's Whaler out of Plymouth. Fabulous!
It was a long and beautiful day. Then we had dinner in Plymouth and everyone went home happy, sunburned and tired!

No visit to Boston is complete without having dinner in the famous North End.

And of course we had to go to Mike's Bakery on Hanover Street for pastry and coffee. We did, under pressure of course, buy pistachio cookies under the disguise of sending some to Jim's mother and also to his friend Larry in Florida. Of course his mother can't eat nuts and we also ate Larry's poetion.
So there you go! Another perfect day.
